With the Super Bowl right around the corner (Go Broncos!), we’ve been inspired on this #ThrowbackThursday to share with you a peek into our sports portfolio. We believe stadium design should have the same amenities and functionality as hospitality design. Our design methodology at Wilson Associates focuses on creating functional yet beautiful spaces, whether we’re designing an intimate residence or a three million square foot arena.
When we designed the owner’s suites at ATT Stadium in Dallas (better known as Jerry World) where the 2011 Super Bowl XLV was hosted, our goal was to marry strength and elegance within each suite. To accomplish this delicate dichotomy, the design team devised ceilings inspired by a Cartier compact and installed museum-quality art pieces throughout the suites and main concourse. Attending a football game or concert at AT&T stadium is a five-star luxury experience that adheres to the upper echelon of sports fanatics.
We call this next design full-court impressive. This 10,000 square foot, two-story suite at The Palms Casino Resort is the ultimate fantasy for basketball fans. Celebrities abound in this ultra-lavish suite, complete with a basketball court and bowling alley. The best part? You can set up NBA-sized beds and sleep on the basketball court.
