Background

Giving back to others is a part of the company culture at Wilson Associates. In 1997 Trisha Wilson established The Wilson Foundation as a separate 501(c)(3) nonprofit foundation dedicated to addressing the needs of disadvantaged and underserved children. Most of the foundation’s work is focused in Limpopo Province, South Africa, in a rural area devastated by extreme poverty, unemployment, substandard education, and an HIV/AIDS pandemic that has left thousands of orphaned children in its wake. The Wilson Foundation is the only U.S. nonprofit providing financial support to this community year-round.

Since inception, The Wilson Foundation has given over $3.5 million to support a wide range of health care, education and youth development programs. Wilson Associates contributes a portion of its annual revenue to support the operating expenses of the Foundation, and the Foundation raises additional funds from individuals, companies and foundations that are then granted to local, community-based organizations in South Africa.

Vision and Mission

Our vision is to improve the quality of life for disadvantaged children by offering them help and hope for a better future. We support programs that improve education, offer access to health services, and provide a safe, nurturing environment. The mission of The Wilson Foundation is to change lives, one child at a time. We believe that one child, provided with these basic but critical needs, can help to change the world.

Vendor Support

Wilson Associates believes success comes from doing great design and giving back. Throughout the years, we have joined forces with esteemed design companies who share this same belief. These partners have generously donated a portion of their profits to The Wilson Foundation in an attempt to help us change lives, one child at a time.

If your company is interested in joining forces, please reach out to The Wilson Foundation via the Contact page on our website.
