Creativity is nothing but the way to solve problems.
With an extensive background in retail architecture and design, largely for Louis Vuitton, Gaelle brings more than 10 years of project management experience to the hospitality projects she oversees at Wilson Associates. As a designer and project manager for Louis Vuitton, she designed more than 15 boutique shops throughout the United States, in particular the dramatic gold façade-clad shop on the Las Vegas strip. It was this project she found to be the most interesting, as it combined her passion for the built environment with her love of immersive art. She collaborated with the artist James Turrell to design an experiential light and art installation in the boutique.
Gaelle finds inspiration in her surroundings, especially the French craftsmen who create the bespoke and high-end materials she incorporates into her designs. Hospitality design is a natural fit for her, as she considers traveling the globe as necessary as breathing and strives to create guest experiences in her projects that she herself would find amazing. She collects and fills her home with cherished eclectic objects from each place she visits, and can’t travel without a Wallpaper* City Guide — her vast library of note-filled tomes await their next adventure.
